BIOGRAPHY:

I have done my PhD thesis work in the area of “Oxidative stress induced by Fluoroquinolones in patients” in JNTU-Hyderabad in 2014 and M.Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University Warangal, Telangana. I worked as a Pharmacokinetic Analyst in Bioserve Clinical Research Organization Hyderabad from 2005-2006 and as an Assistant Professor in St Peter’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Warangal from 2006 to 2009. From 2009-2020 worked as faculty inthe department of Pharmacology & Toxicology at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Hyderabad. I have been working since 2021 as Professor in the department of Pharmacology at SarojininaiduVanita Pharmacy MahaVidyalaya.

RESEARCH SUMMARY

Research mainly focuses on evaluating plant extracts and new chemical entities for anticancer activity through various in-vitro assays. Targeting Hsp90 pathway and galectin pathway to treat cancer. Evaluating various approaches to attenuate the unwanted effects of the existing anticancer drugs using different experimental animal models by chemically induced cancer models. The other areas are occupational lung fibrosis and repurposing of the drugs
