Kartik Rao

Kartik is the Executive Director at Akin Laboratories Pvt. Ltd a contract manufacturer based out of Hyderabad. He handles the Business development, New product development, Commercial and Financial aspects of the company. He is also the founder of Nutrakin Pvt. Ltd. which focusses on Nutraceutical manufacturing and marketing.

Kartik is also associated with Marsh India Insurance brokers Pvt. Ltd. as a Vice President in the Risk Management Practice. He was working full time till 2018 and current works as a part time employee. He currently provides risk management and insurance solutions to  large Pharmaceutical clients based out of Hyderabad. In the past, he has worked in different teams like Multinational practice, Private Equity and M&A practice and Risk Management practice.

Kartik has also worked with Citibank N.A in the past. He was the single point of contact and had the ownership for over 30 consumer banking clients including marquee names, large MNC and Indian corporates (>500 employee strength).

Kartik holds a PGDM degree from SCMHRD Pune and a B.E degree (Electronics and communications) from SDMCET, Dharwad. He is has completed his schooling from HPS Begumpet. He is a keen sportsman and has represented the school team in Cricket and Basketball team in college. He loves to travel and try out local cuisine.
