Dr. Gaddam Mallesham, a seasoned academic and administrator, currently holds the prestigious position of Dean of Development and UGC Affairs at Osmania University. His deep-rooted association with the university spans over two decades, during which he has played pivotal roles in shaping its academic landscape.
Mallesham’s journey at Osmania University began as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
His exceptional teaching skills and scholarly contributions quickly earned him recognition, leading to his appointment as the Head of the department.
His tenure as Head was marked by significant advancements in the department’s curriculum, research initiatives, and infrastructure.
Beyond his academic responsibilities, Mallesham has actively engaged in university governance. He served as the Vice President of the Osmania University Teachers’ Association, where he championed the interests of faculty members and contributed to policy-making decisions.
Additionally, he has held the position of Director of the Electrical Division, overseeing the university’s electrical infrastructure and ensuring its efficient operation.
