 Dr. T. Mamatha is a distinguished academician and administrator in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, currently serving as Principal and Professor at Sarojini Naidu Vanita Pharmacy Maha Vidyalaya(Co-Ed) Autonomous, Osmania University, Hyderabad. With over 25 years of teaching and research experience, she has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical education, research, and institutional development.

She completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JNTUH, Hyderabad, with research focused on Design and Evaluation of Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems. She holds an M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Kakatiya University and secured an All India Rank of 34 in GATE-1997, reflecting her strong academic foundation. She is also a recipient of the UGC Junior Research Fellowship and multiple academic distinctions, including gold and silver medals in NPTEL-AICTE programs.

Dr. Mamatha has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Professor & Head, Vice Principal, and Principal, and has been ratified as Professor and Principal by Osmania University. She has played a pivotal role in achieving NAAC A+ accreditation, NBA accreditation, and quality initiatives such as QCI rankings.

Her research expertise spans drug delivery systems, formulation development, and analytical method development. She has authored 60+ research publications in reputed national and international journals, contributed a book chapter in Dermatotoxicology, and holds a design patent along with a process patent under review. She has successfully guided 48 M.Pharm and 25 B.Pharm projects.

An active contributor to academic governance, she serves as Chairperson of BOS and Academic Council, and holds leadership roles in professional bodies such as the Indian Pharmaceutical Association Telangana State Branch (IPA TS).

Dr. Mamatha is deeply engaged in faculty development, innovation, and student mentoring, served as SPOC for NPTEL, and coordinator for various national initiatives. She has delivered few lectures, presented research at national and international conferences, and actively contributes as a reviewer for reputed journals.

Her commitment to excellence in education, research, and institutional leadership continues to inspire students and faculty in the pharmaceutical sciences domain.
